Hiring CDL A Drivers for Local Positions

Trans American Trucking Service, located in South Plainfield NJ, is looking for local flatbed drivers. We are a very diversified company that transports loads on flatbed, step-deck, double drop, RGN, and specialty trailers. We also do port drayage work.

Candidate must have a good driving record, two years verifiable flatbed experience, a valid CDL class A license, a TWIC card, and be able to drive a manual transmission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport loads using flatbed, step-deck, double drop, RGN, and specialty trailers

  • Follow all safety rules and company guidelines

  • Keep vehicles in good working order by performing routine checks.

  • Keep accurate

  • driver logs and reports.

  • Stay in touch with dispatch and management for updates

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license

  • TWIC card

  • Minimum of

  • 2 years’ experience driving flatbed trucks

  • Ability to drive a manual transmission

  • Clean driving record and a commitment to safety.

  • Familiarity with local routes and driving regulations
